Istanbul Mehmet 10" Sultan Splash

The Istanbul Mehmet Sultan 10" Splash Cymbal combines elements of the Traditional and Turk series cymbals, creating a unique and brilliant sounding cymbal. The fusion of the brilliant tones from the Traditional cymbals and the dry, wooden sound of the unlathed Turk series design results in a highly versatile sound palette. The unlathed cup on the top of the cymbal, provides a strong yet compact bell sound, with the concentric unlathed circle section on the bow helping to reduce overtone, providing a drier and more concise sound. Underneath the cymbal, it is completely unlathed for added versatility. The result is a mellow tone with pronounced stick definition.
